At RMC there are four accommodation options for you to choose from. No matter which option you choose, you have access to all College central facilities (including library, games, music and computer rooms), academic tutoring, pastoral support and events! More importantly, RMC will always be your “next best place to home” – with variety!


Every person has their own private study bedroom equipped with a bed, desk, chair, high-speed broadband internet connection, storage cupboard, bookshelves, pin board, telephone with voicemail and a large window for natural light. Vacuuming and linen services are provided weekly. We also have a number of rooms designed with disabled access or for the hearing impaired.


Here’s a summary of your four options:

Private Ensuite, Fully Catered | Shared Bathroom, Fully Catered | Private Ensuite/Ktichen, Self-Catered | Shared Bathroom/Kitchen, Self-Catered


Private Ensuite, Fully Catered


You will have your own private study bedroom in the new building with all bed linen provided. You will have your own ensuite bathroom that will be cleaned weekly.


This option is fully catered, with three meals served in the Dining Room each day, seven days a week. To learn more about the food at RMC, click here.


You will also have easy access to a brand new fully fitted kitchen and two new common rooms on your floor in the new building as well – where people can meet to chat with their neighbours, enjoy a cup of coffee, play games or study together – all of which adds to the great sense of community at RMC.


Shared Bathroom, Fully Catered


You will have your own private study bedroom with all bed linen provided. Five rooms share a newly renovated fully tiled bathroom, cleaned on a daily basis, with males and females allocated separate floors and bathrooms.


Every group of ten rooms also share a common lounge area and kitchenette, where people meet to chat with their neighbours, enjoy a cup of coffee, play games or study together – all of which adds to the great sense of community at RMC.

Private Ensuite/Ktichen, Self-Catered


You will have your own private study bedroom in the new building. Sheets, pillow and pillowcases will be provided. 


You will have your own ensuite bathroom and your own personal kitchenette, with fridge, cook top and microwave in your room (just bring your own cooking utensils). You will also have access to a fully fitted kitchen with an oven and two common rooms on your floor of the new building.


To give you the opportunity to share a meal with your RMC community, one evening meal per week in the Dining Room is included in this option!


Shared Bathroom/Kitchen, Self-Catered


You will have your own private study bedroom. Sheets, pillow and pillowcases will be provided.


A group of nine rooms will have access to a shared kitchen for you to cook your meals in with cook top, oven, fridge, microwave and with individual lockable storage cupboards (just bring your own cooking utensils). There is also a common lounge to meet your neighbours and share a meal.


The nine rooms also share a bathroom with two showers, toilets and washbasins, cleaned on a daily basis, with males and females allocated separate floors and bathrooms.


To give you the opportunity to share a meal with your RMC community, one evening meal per week in the Dining Room is included in this option!

Disabled Access Rooms

RMC has 4 self-catered rooms designed with disabled access features. There are also a number of self-catered and fully catered rooms which are designed for members with a hearing impairment – these rooms have flashing lights in case of evacuations. For any enquiries, please contact us.
