Tutors

Residential Tutors

Residential Tutors are selected from senior members of the College to provide leadership, welfare and academic support to the residents of their block.

Academic Tutors

Academic Tutors (along with the Residential Tutors) are appointed to provide academic support in specific courses and subject areas. They also facilitate study groups in which members studying a particular course or discipline are brought together to help and encourage one another. We have tutoring available in Ancient History, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, French, Human Resource Management, Law, Linguistics, Modern History, Politics, Psychology, Spanish, and a wide range of EFS subjects such as Accounting, Actuarial Studies, Commerce, Economics and Finance. Each year our Academic Assistance Program is tailored to the particular needs of our members, so if you need support in an area not listed here, we will do what we can to meet that need.

This year Academic Tutoring has expanded to include:

  • Two Academic English Tutors
  • SIBT Tutors
  • IELTS exam preparation tutorials
  • A seminar in Semesters 1 and 2 entitled Into the Workforce, to prepare RMC members for the challenge of transitioning into the workforce.
