The first ever Speech and Hearing Sciences Academic Dinner was hosted at RMC on Monday 12 October 2015. The event brought together our students studying this course, along with lecturers from Macquarie University.
The night began with dinner in the dining room and then move to the conference room where there was a delectable chocolate cake.
Dr. Mridula Sharma kicked off the guest presentations with a discussion about audiology and its role in identifying infant hearing disorders. The night continued with Dr. Titia Benders talking about her experience with trends in the field and how they have shaped her research endeavours.
We can’t wait to see what next year’s dinner has in store!
