Rooms

All student rooms at RMC are single occupancy, allowing you to create your own space by bringing a little part of your home with you.

Every room also has the following: Bed, Wardrobe, Desk, Chair, Bookcase, Pinboard, Fan, Heater, Phone, and Internet connection.

There is a variety of bathroom and kitchen options:

Catering options

Fully catered

Three meals a Day

If you choose a fully catered option you are provided with 3 meals a day, all served in the college dining room. We strongly recommend that first-year students or students new to the college choose this option as it helps you settle in and make new friends more easily, and transition smoothly to a new environment, giving you a great start to your tertiary studies.

Semi catered

Five evening meals on weekdays

If you choose a semi-catered option you have evening meals in the College dining room Monday to Friday. Meals are an important time to socialise and get sustenance for your late-night studies.

Self catered

1 meal included

Self catered option is not available for residents in their first year. Limited self-catered options are available for residents in their second, third or fourth year at College. You'll have access to a shared kitchen or your own private kitchenette to cook your meals. One evening meal per week in the dining room is included to help build community.

Outside of Meal times

If you can't make it to lunch, you can pre-order a packed lunch before 6 am the same day (not available on weekends and public holidays). Late dinners are also available if you can't make it to dinner.

During the exam period, exam suppers (usually at 9 PM), are available to all students.

Otherwise there are two vending machines with a wide variety of snacks and drinks.

Parking

Free parking at the College or reimbursement of the Macquarie University parking permit is available for residents

Subsidised Gym Membership at Macquarie University Sport and Aquatic Centre
