WHO ARE WE?
RMC is an Anglican residential college located on campus at Macquarie University.
At Robert Menzies College, we focus on providing fully catered student accommodation alongside strong academic and pastoral support for our residents.
By enabling our residents to engage with the university experience in a supportive context, they have the opportunity to develop academically, socially and spiritually. The College offers many student leadership positions for its residents and our multicultural community empowers them to become community-minded leaders in the global village.
Robert Menzies College is located on the Macquarie University campus, just a few minutes walk from the university. Our Herring Road location is close to public transport and the Macquarie Centre.

- We provide a ‘home away from home’ for Australian and overseas students as a service to them and to Macquarie University.
- Our members come from around Australia and all over the world, bringing their diverse experiences and backgrounds to life at RMC.
- A quick look through this website will give you an idea of how great it is to live and work at Robert Menzies College

scholarship and leadership
- At RMC we actively support the learning process, providing College members with an environment conducive to study, encouraging excellence and providing study support.
- We foster individual growth and development of College members as persons and in leadership.
- We maintain close links to the academic programs and staff of Macquarie University.
- We encourage learning and provide mentors and tutors from among our senior members and others.
- We support academic research and scholarship with the RMC Visiting Academic Program.
VALUE #3
Encourage a
spiritual focus
- At RMC, we welcome people from every faith, background, and belief. As a Christian college, we believe that one of the most important things you can explore is what you believe about the world, yourself, God, and the universe. RMC provides great ways for you to explore faith and worldviews if you’re keen. We also have regular ways to grow in your Christian faith, including a weekly Bible study.
- We have a church onsite that anyone can attend – The Bridge Church, which meets in Trinity Chapel. The church has 3 services on a Sunday – 9am, 10:45am, and 5:30pm.
- RMC is also delighted to partner with Christian University groups, many of whom use the Trinity Chapel space. We partner with Christian Union, FOCUS (Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students), Power to Change, and SOW.

About Macquarie University
Founded in 1964, Macquarie University was established with a vision to be a progressive and innovative institution, breaking away from traditional university models. Our focus has always been on fostering collaboration between students, academics, industry, and the wider community, creating an environment where diverse perspectives are encouraged and conventional boundaries are challenged. This commitment to innovation has led to groundbreaking achievements, such as the co-invention of Wi-Fi in partnership with the CSIRO.
We continue to drive forward with a pioneering approach to education and research. Our degrees are personalised and often co-designed with industry to enhance graduate employability, ensuring that Macquarie graduates are among the most sought-after professionals globally.
Macquarie University is also dedicated to recognising the Indigenous heritage of the land on which we stand. Our main campus in Macquarie Park is known as the Wallumattagal Campus, in acknowledgement of the Aboriginal country we are proud to be part of.
Our mission remains clear: to challenge conventions, embrace diversity, and create meaningful impact through collaboration and innovation.
