Vocational
The Leadership Certificate is Vocational, it aims to:
- Develop your internal vocation (calling) which is “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” [1]
- Provide learning opportunities that have significance at RMC and beyond.
Community-Centered
RMC emphasises learning-in-community, as we believe in the importance of humans as persons-in-communion. Growth occurs with, alongside, amongst, for, and towards others. Formation offerings have a focus on learning in communities, other-person-centred outcomes, and interrelational skills.
Values-Based
RMC emphasises a value-based (VbE) approach to formation where individual and community values form the basis of growth. The focus of VbE identifies and cultivates the drivers for decision and culture making, seeking to engage the heart, mind and will. RMC emphasises the values of Respect, Care, Safety, Inclusion, Dignity, Integrity, and Fairness.
